"How to Get Healthy &
Stay Healthy
In an Unhealthy World"
By Anita L. Ursua
BOOK REVIEW by Bill McDonald
I was honored with a personal visit to my home by the
author Anita Ursua this week. I now have just finished reading her wonderfully
informative and perhaps life saving book on nutritional body balancing. She has
done what appears to be a great deal of study and research to write a very
informative book. This is not a book that you read once and put on a shelf to
get dusty - but this is like a handbook for living your life healthy.
Her point by point explanations of what are nutrients and carbohydrates and
anti-oxidants is like a study in basic life eating skills that most all of us
have missed some place in our life education. She makes the complicated seem
simple to grasp and understand. This is not just a book but an owners manual for
your body!
I thought I knew a lot about this subject since my aunt owned one of the very
first health food stores in San Francisco and I have been raised with lots of
good working knowledge on this very subject - but I found I had gaps of
information about foods and what they do to your body. This book opened my eyes
and has given me a new understanding.
I recommend that everyone who has body (all of
us who are alive) go out a buy this book. For those that are lucky enough to
live in northern California I recommend that you hear one of her talks in person
should you have that opportunity. This book is suitable for all readers.
This book gets the American Authors Association first
Gold Book Award for Health
