Bruce E. Carlson - Author & Aero Scout
Helicopter Pilot with the Seventeenth Cav.
His novel "Red Bird Down" is a classic helicopter
story of the Vietnam helicopter war. He was shot down several times and received
numerous awards for gallantry, Among these awards are three Distinguished Flying
Crosses and a Bronze Star.
He is now a retired ordained minister of the United Church of Christ. He was on
the phone with us from Nebraska.

His book "Highest Tradition" is a basic verbal map and
guide to what it was like to be on a Huey crew during the Vietnam War in 1966-67
in and around Chu Chi in "A" Company "Little Bears" - one of the
most decorated helicopter units in the war.
He now resides in northern California and races cars as a part-time hobby.

Don and Annette Hall - Film makers, authors
This husband wife team have created one of the most
interesting documentary films about the Vietnam War called " Silent Victory"
about the Long Range Patrol Airborne unit Don served with in Vietnam. There
non-fiction book of his experiences in the war and their life together is titled
""I Served" - and makes for great reading for both men and women. It is more
than just a Vietnam War book - it involves their lives before and after that
war. They did this interview from their home Washington.

Patty Biegun Hancock - Artist, writer,
photojournalist, wife of a USMC veteran.
She just completed her contributions to two wonder veteran
books - "Purple Hearts - Vietnam War Poetry" where she wrote a wonderful
introduction, designed the great book cover and added an after thought in
the back of Bill McDonald's the book; she also added some stories to Jan
Hornung's newest book Spinning Tales. She is the wife of Vietnam Veteran folk
artist Larry "Aurence" Hancock - whose was featured in the documentary film "In
The Shadow of the Blade". She talks about her new book project and her husbands
art. She is interviewed from her Demorest, Georgia home in the mountains.

Sarge has created some of the finest blues music ever
recorded and his CD is a tribute to all us Vietnam veterans. We play selections
from his CD and interview him about how he got inspired to write those songs. He
talks to us from Phoenix, Arizona.

Howard Stansell - Singer whose music
honors veteran from all wars!
He sounds like Willie Nelson and his songs are on the
cutting edge - he honors veterans of all wars with his creative music and words.
He has sung for veteran gatherings from The Wall to Angel Fire. He talks to us
from his home Los Lumas, NM. We play some of his cuts from his CD "I Remember...
A Tribute To Those Who Serve" and also air parts of our interview with him.

PTSD Alliance
Author of the book "Walk In Hell" is interviewed about his
book, his experiences in Vietnam and what lead him to his work with PTSD
veterans. He is a victim of a sexual assault in Vietnam and talks about his
efforts to reach out an help others who have experienced the same kind of fate.
He talks to Donn and Bill from his home in Iowa.

Linda DeShon of The Hill Top Singers - USO singer
who performed in Vietnam
Linda who was a member of the original Hill Top Singers
still sings and records today with her sister Jeanie.
Their CD "In Spirit At The Wall" is a great folk singing tribute to veterans and
to their life as entertainers in the far east for veterans. Linda and Jeanie
were featured in the documentary film "In The Shadow of the Blade" and sing in
the film. Linda talked to us from her home in Nashville, TN. We offer some
selections from their CD and parts of our interview with Linda.
