AAA Book Fair - Who is coming
Some of the biggest names of the
self-published world of books are coming to the book fair in Sacramento this
July 2nd 2005.
Alton Pryor- An
author who has several successful selling books published. He is the founder of
the Stagecoach Publishing Company. He will be making a presentation on
self-publishing as well as selling and signing his many books. (* His book "Little
Known Tales on California History" sold
over 50,000 copies
and continues to be his big seller.) His website:

Chan Van Truong - A
new up coming Vietnamese writer - whose novel "The Naisa Mafia"
started off selling very quickly several thousand books in the first few weeks.
He is an expert on the Asian mob and it is hoped that he will speak to the fair
goers.

W. H. McDonald Jr.
- Award winning poet and writer. His good selling autobiography "A
Spiritual Warrior's Journey" is now being considered for a movie or
possible TV series. He was a featured author of his publisher at the LA Times
Book Festival in April where he shared a book signing booth with Maria
Shriver. He will be talking about the making of the documentary film "In
The Shadow of The Blade" and his role in it. All of his books will be for
sale at the book fair. (Other books include his award winning poetry books -
"Purple Hearts" & "Sacred Eye - Poetry in Search of the Divine").
His books are to be featured at the The Chicago Book Expo, The Texas Book
Festival and several other book fairs.

O'Hara - Local author and
retired California Highway Patrol officer. His new novel "The Swan"

Awards for 2004! We will be treated to a short talk about his book.
Jan Small - She lives in Fremont, CA and
has 2 books published: l) Revelation Illustrated is a beautifully
illustrated hardback, coffee table type book. It has the scriptures, paintings
illustrating the scriptures and stories about the paintings. It took 19 years to
paint and 5 years to write. 2) Healing By His Design is a spiral
bound workbook about designing your feelings and giving them to God to heal. She
has been an artist for 40 years and has had her own art school for 35 years. You

Nicholas Grabowsky -
His most notable
published novels are: The Everborn, Halloween IV
(original & Special Limited Edition), Pray Serpent's Prey,
The Rag Man, Sweet Dreams, Lady Moon. Also, Nancy
(Nancy Reagan Bio), Body Dynamics 1-3. He is a bestselling
horror/fantasy novelist with a fan base throughout the world since the
mid-eighties. He has been writing professionally since an acting class taught
by Walter Koenig (Chekov from Star Trek) opened the door to Prey
Serpent's Prey's publication in the U.S. and Europe. He has gained a sort
of celebrity status with the novelization of Halloween IV, which went
over so well he became an authority figure to Michael Myers fans worldwide, with
anticipated follow-ups in the franchise slated soon. He also founded Diverse
Media, a publishing/promotions firm. He has several new novels in the
works. He currently reside in Antelope, CA
Ben Waldron - A local war hero who writes about his capture by the
Japanese and his 3 years as a POW during WWII in the Pacific. A very interesting
man to talk to - he is himself a living history book and treasure to meet! His
book "Corregidor - From Paradise to Hell" is in its second printing and
has sold over 50,000 copies world wide.
He will be one of the featured speakers.

Tim Herrera - Former TV newscaster and now a columnist for the Elk Grove Citizen and noted author of
several wonderful books including "I'm Their Dad! Not Their Babysitter!"

will be selling copies of an locally written anthology titled "Lily Love's
Cafe" . This book has locally acclaimed writers such as Nan Mahon,
Patricia Canterbury, Melody DeBlois, Nila Gott, Judy Mayne,
Norton Schwartz, Susan Hunter, Jim Bentley, D. Emmanuel Guerrero and Terry
Bennett. Some of the authors will be at the fair so you can get more than
one signature on the book. Funds form the sales of these books goes to support
the foundations work with young women.
